Casa RM

To the existing footprint (agricultural house), an additional 200.00m2 is added for the construction of the residence. The existing granary (8.00m2) will be renovated.

The existing buildings are in an advanced state of degradation, with interiors in ruins. The decision was made to completely demolish the “core” of both structures and the roofs, recovering and consolidating part of the exterior walls as a memory of what once existed. The new residence will be located within these limits, appearing as a detached box. The new volumes develop and emerge from the ruins, conforming to the terrain and following its natural contours.

The construction is tailored to the intended use, with the project designed considering the desires and lifestyle of the owners. It respects the surrounding context.

The land is currently in its natural state, and this characteristic will be maintained in almost its entirety, with only the building footprint being impermeabilized.

The project aims to involve the least possible earth movement.
